Conditional logic matters, Smart matters

You can set up conditional fields to create "smart matters". Conditional logic makes matter creation easier and enables connections between certain fields. Tracker automatically populates matter profile fields based on conditions you set up. For example, if you know that invoices for a particular approval route should always go to the same Lead Company Person, you could set up a condition to automatically assign invoices on that approval route to that person.
When creating conditional fields, you can create two types of conditional fields.

Defining an Add Condition

To define an "Add" condition you specify a particular value to be added to a field.
  1. Select
    Settings
    from the left navigation.
  2. Under
    Matters setup
    select
    Matter Type-Templates & Matter Setup
    .
  3. Click the name of Matter sub-type.
  4. Scroll to the
    Conditional Fields
    collapsible section.

  9. In the
    Value
