View Contracts in Closed Matters
The open or closed status of a matter does not affect searches you perform for contracts. For example, if you run a report of active contracts, then all active contracts are included in the report regardless whether contract is stored in a closed matter.
Email alerts for contracts stored in closed matters
Email notifications regarding contract renewal, expiration or termination are not sent if the matter the contract is stored in is a closed matter.
