Task Code Alerts

Tracker provides your firm and your client company with the ability to analyze billing by task codes, phases, and code sets by using task code alerts. Task code alerts are pre-defined actions that occur when spending for a set of task codes approaches a defined threshold. Task code alerts provide the ability to automatically reduce or reject invoices based on negotiated costs, and help automate enforcement of task code-based billing arrangements.
For each matter, the company matter creator or matter administrator can choose the code sets that Tracker should monitor. Every approved invoice from your firm is analyzed, and the billed amounts are shown at the task code, phase, and code set level. Additionally, the matter creator or company or law firm matter administrator can set spending limits at each level, and Tracker shows running totals of previous spending as they compare to those limits.
Required role | Only the matter administrator can set spending limits for task code alerts.
You can view any task code alerts on the matter's
Budget
or
Budget/Fees
tab in the
Task Code Alerts
