Turn on multi-factor authentication

After registering your account, follow these steps to turn on multi-factor authentication.
  1. Select
    Setup Now
    .
  2. Select
    Choose
     for
    Use Thomson Reuters Authenticator (recommended)
    .
  3. Download and install the Thomson Reuters Authenticator app on the mobile device you want to pair. Enable access to your camera and turn on push notifications.
  4. After the app installs, select
    Next
     on your computer.
    A QR code will display on your computer screen.
  5. On your mobile device, open the Thomson Reuters Authenticator app and select
    Scan QR code
    . Hold your phone to your computer screen to scan the QR code with your camera.
    If the scan QR code option doesn't automatically display, select then
    Scan QR code
    .
  6. You should receive a message that the pairing was successful on your computer and mobile device. Select
    Got it
    .
  7. On your computer, name the mobile device you paired and select
    Finish
    . You'll be prompted to check your device.
  8. On your mobile device, you should receive a notification to approve sign in. Select the checkmark to approve.
  9. Select either
    Copy
     or
    Print
     to save the emergency access codes. Select
    Done
     when you're finished.
