Azure Virtual Desktop apps don't open
Follow these steps if Azure Virtual Desktop applications don't open or you don't receive the Windows App prompt.
If you receive an error or don't receive the pop-up notification to allow your apps to open using Azure Virtual Desktop, try the steps listed here.
- Single-select the application icon to open it, don't double-click.
- Make sure you are using the correct Thomson Reuters Account email and password if you have multiple accounts.
- Make sure all pop-up blockers are disabled.
- Clear cache and cookies.
- Refresh the page or close and reopen the browser completely.
- Right-click the application icon and open it in another tab.
- Check that you have the latest version of the Windows App:
- OpenWindows Appfrom your device.
- If there is an update notification, go ahead and update your version. Otherwise, your application is up to date.
Microsoft Edge users
If nothing happens when you try to open an application and you're using Microsoft Edge, try the following steps:
- In the Edge address bar, paste this and pressEnter:edge://settings/content/applicationLinks.
- Turn onAutomatically block or allow apps based on a list from Microsoft.
- If there are sites listed on the screen marked and saved withAlways Allow, remove them.
- Go back to the address bar, then paste this and pressEnter:edge://settings/siteData.
- SelectRemove Allto delete all cookies and site data.
- Close all instances of Microsoft Edge then reopen and sign in toNetClientCS.
- Open an application and make sure you receive a notification that says:This site is trying to open Windows App
- Mark theAlways allow secure.netlinksolution.com to open links of this type in the associated appcheckbox and selectOpen.
