View and download File Exchange files
- If you need to make changes to and upload the file back to your portal, you'll need to download it first.
- Newis shown next to new files in File Exchange. You can useRemoveto delete these indicators.
- File Exchange documents are scanned for viruses.
- In the Documents section of the Navigation pane, selectFile Exchange.noteIfFile Exchangeisn't present, you don't have access to it.
- Select the folder that contains the file you want to view.noteYou may need to open subfolders to access the file. If you can't find a file in the File Transfers folder, the file transfer location might have expired. This causes NetClient CS to delete the folder and its files. Refer to the file transfer email from our firm to check the expiry date.
- Choose how you want to view or download files:
- To view a file, select its name.noteDepending on how your computer is configured, you'll be asked if you want to save or open the file.
- To download all files from a folder, including subfolders, selectDownload All.noteThe application creates a ZIP file you can save.
- To download selected files or folders, select them, then useDownload Selected.noteThe application creates a ZIP file you can save.
tipIf you can't find files that were uploaded for you, you might need to delete your temporary internet files or cached files.UseUpto move back through the folder structure, andHometo return to the original view. - If Sign and Reject appear to next to the file in the File Exchange screen, review the file and useSignorReject.noteIf you need to change the file and return it to us, you'll need to upload the file through your portal.
