Release notes highlight new features and improvements made to ONESOURCE Tax Provision.
New features
Units, Sub Con, Filing Units, Class/Group, Sub-class, Jurisdictions sorting order on report
We updated the sorting functionality for ‘Units’, ‘Jurisdiction’, ‘Bucket’, ‘Year’ and ‘Current and Prior Year’ for the below reports so that the data is displayed in a logical order on these reports.

Enhance the report generation performance to handle dataset containing units up to 500 units
We upgraded the OTP system's performance to ensure optimal handling even when processing datasets containing up to 500 units.
Modern OTP [Enhancement- Deferred reports] Units, Class/Group, Sub-class, Jurisdictions sorting order on reports
Units, Classes and Sub-classes will sort by Code for the Deferred reports, and Jurisdiction(s) will sort by name so that the data displays in a logical order on these reports.
Updates to Wijmo Grid component
We upgraded the Grids on certain screens to bring a fresh look and improve accessibility.
Resolved issues
Payable CY/PY columns should align as per the data breakouts.
We fixed the alignment issue for Current Year and Future Year sections.
Years prior to current section is not displayed when given combination have no data
We fixed an issue where “Years prior to current section” wasn't displaying in the Payable Details report when a given combination of report selections had no data to display. Displaying this section regardless will help the user better understand why it's empty.
Year col display year with comma separated when show adjustment false
We fixed an issue where NOL reports were displaying year-related data values with comma-separated formatting. The fix resulted in better formatting of data on reporting.
User unable to SET data from Workpapers
We fixed an issue to allow users to perform SET and GET operations for PTBI, Perm Diffs – Book/Tax, and Temp Diffs on the
Data Entry
screens after launching Workpaper under Settings
, then Workbook Settings
.Menu-Top Bar shows WORKPAPERS instead of TAX PROVISION MODERN when launching Workpapers from (New) Tax Provision
We fixed an issue where Platform rendered the wrong application name when opening Workpapers from within Tax Provision
Dataset import throws a "Failed" status in Jobs, even though dataset imports successfully
We removed an obsolete checkbox for running computing regeneration function when doing an import. Checking this box resulted in an error due to code that's deprecated.
Unable to assign filing units for States
We fixed a logic error in assigning Filing Units for states.
N/A is not appearing in filter and filter is applying for both column (Dataset Name & Component Name)
We fixed the filter for Jobs Modal
Filter is not getting applied on column when we try to filter with '0' value
We fixed the filter to properly handle “0”
User is not able to add the records in "Perm Diffs - Tax Basis" data entry screen with Custom user and Read Write user
We fixed the permissions issue for Custom user and Read Write user related to Perm Diffs – Tax Basis.
In specific scenario with Custom user, first time user won't be able to navigate to Provision or Deferred Lead sheet
We fixed the condition issue that resulted in wrongful evaluation when displaying Lead sheets for Custom user.
Lock icon not appearing when we come back from data entry screen to lead sheet page
We fixed the navigation logic that prevented the lock icon from rendering.
