Release notes highlight new features and improvements made to ONESOURCE Tax Provision.
New features
Total Tax Provision comparison report
You can now create a report to compare values from two datasets in adjacent columns, Dataset 1 and Dataset 2, and see their amount differences in a third column.
Journal entry reports
Reports will now sort Units, Filing Units, and Subconsolidations by code, and sort Jurisdictions by name, ensuring the data is well-organized and easy to read. This enhancement applies to the following reports:
- Output JE - Base (Detail)
- Output JE - Base (Summary)
- Output JE - JE by GL Account
- Output JE - Calculation Detail
- Output JE - Calculation Detail Summary
- Output JE - JE Summary by GL Account
- Output JE - Export Detail
Compute refresh notifications on lead sheets
When you are on a Lead Sheet screen, a compute refresh notification alerts you to data changes for a specific base or comparing dataset.
We've improved this feature. Now, you'll only receive notifications if the Unit or Sub-consolidation you're viewing on the Lead Sheet screen has updates. Simply hit refresh to see the latest data.
Additionally, notifications are specific to the Lead Sheet you're viewing. For instance, if you're looking at the Payable Lead Sheet, you'll only get notifications for Payable computations.
