Release notes highlight new features and improvements made to ONESOURCE Tax Provision.
New features
Effective Tax Rate comparison (group rate) without roll-up
Users can now generate a report that compares the Effective Tax Rate across two datasets, highlighting the differences in values between the two.
State Tax Provision comparison
Users can now generate a report that compares the State Tax Provision across two datasets, and highlights the differences in values between the two.
ETR Reports – State and Local Income taxes to be split into child items
Child items for the 'State and Local Income Taxes' line item can now be viewed on the ETR Blended and Group Reports, providing visibility into the underlying drivers of state and local income taxes.
Enhancements
Arranging Deferred reports as per Federal and State
We arranged all Deferred reports to group Federal reports together, and State reports together.

We are constantly updating our User Interface with the latest technology to provide our customers better performance and accessibility.
Resolved issues
Output JE - Calculation Detail was failing with 200 units
This Report was failing to generate with 200 units. Users were unable to generate the report using large datasets. This issue has now been resolved.
State Tax Provision reports throwing timeout for full breakout with dataset
We resolved an issue where users were unable to generate a report with all breakout options selected when 506 units and 20 states were used to generate the report. The issue has now been resolved

State Tax Provision Comparison report data missing for some line items
We've resolved an issue where some of the line items for State tax comparison report such as Current State Tax Provision, Total Deferred Tax Provision and Total Equity Adjustment were missing data when the report was generated.
Dataset header has no Autofit in Total Tax Provision/State Tax Provision Reports
We fixed an issue where the dataset header in State Tax Provision and Total Tax Provision Reports didn't autofit to the cell width, affecting readability of the dataset name. This issue has been fixed.
Report Output JE - Calculation Detail Summary
generated under JE report filter had a typo mistake in the generated report. This issue has been resolved.
Intermittent Errors on Dataset Copy
We resolved an issue where Dataset Copy process would intermittently result in an error. The previous work around was to delete the newly created copy dataset, and re-attempt the copy process until it succeeded. This issue has been resolved.
RTP is unable to process for only a Single Unit
We fixed an issue where RTP was failing when attempting to run on a single unit. RTP can now run against Dataset, Sub-Consolidation, or a single Unit.
