Email notifications for certificate expiration
We're pleased to announce a new feature in the ONESOURCE API Administration that allows users to receive timely notifications when their API certificates are approaching expiration.

Key Features

  • Email Notification System:
    Users can now add email addresses to receive alerts when certificates are nearing expiration
  • Multiple Recipient Support:
    Add several email addresses separated by commas to ensure your entire team stays informed
  • Notification Intervals:
    Automatic alerts at 60 days, 30 days, and 0 days (expiration date)
  • Easy Configuration:
    Simple setup through the "Add Certificate" interface
  • Flexible Management:
    Email notification lists can be updated at any time
  • Proactive Security Management:
    Stay ahead of certificate expirations to avoid service disruptions

How to use:

  1. Navigate to the API Administration portal.
  2. Access the
    Certificates
    section from the left navigation menu.
  3. When adding a new certificate, locate the
    Notifications Emails
    field.
  4. Enter one or multiple email addresses (separated by commas).
  5. Complete the certificate set up process.

Managing notification recipients:

  • Return to the Certificates section at any time to update your notification email list
  • Add or remove recipients as team responsibilities change
  • Ensure the correct people are always informed about upcoming certificate expirations
This new functionality helps ensure continuous API access by providing timely reminders before certificates expire, allowing for proper renewal planning and preventing unexpected service interruptions.
