ONESOURCE DATA QUERY UPGRADE
ONESOURCE Data Query has a new upgrade! While Data Query is the same product, but with a newer version, there are several functionality changes in how you process your queries. Here are the most noticeable differences between the old and new system:
- Create Query Template tab has been replaced with right-click > Edit options for reports.
- Repository has new tools to favorite reports and to run keyword searches.
- Ad hoc mode Data Binder is now Table Editor and Crosstab Editor.
- Ad hoc option to Format reports is included in Table Editor and Crosstab Editor.
- Organizing Reports – create new folders by right-click > New Folder on My Reports, Shared Reports, or user-defined folders.
AD HOC MODE
Ad hoc mode Table Editor and Crosstab Editor – Delete All option is not available at this time.
WIZARD
Wizard icon on the top left corner will be disabled in a future release.
FOLDER PERMISSIONS
The Shared Reports folder permission to ‘Grant to owner only’ is working inconsistently. In order to hide reports, save them in My Reports.
