Connect to Data Query Reporting using Excel with OData

Non-SSO customers can use API endpoints in Excel with OData to connect to Data Query Reporting for domestic and international reports.
You can use API endpoints in Excel with OData to connect to Data Query Reporting for both domestic and international reports. Once connected, you can review and edit your reports directly in Excel. Then, save your changes in the
Power Editor
.
  1. In Excel, select
    Data tab
    Get Data
    From Other Sources
    From OData Feed
    .
  2. Enter 1 of the following URLs:
    • Domestic
      : https://api.onesourcetax.com/data-query-reporting/odata/v1
    • International
      : https://api.onesourcetax.com/data-query-reporting/international/odata/v1
  3. Select
    Connect
    .
  4. Go to the Basic section and enter your
    Universal ID
    and
    Password
    .
  5. Select
    Connect
    .
    The Navigator will open.
  6. Mark the
    Select multiple items
    checkbox to add more than 1 report at a time.
  7. Select the reports you need, then select
    Transform Data
    .
    The reports will open in the
    Power Editor
    .
  8. Filter the reports as needed, then select
    Save & Close
    .

Loading time will depend on the volume of data in the account and reports.
