FAQ

Is DataFlow classic shutting down?

Support for ONESOURCE DataFlow Classic ends on March 25, 2025, which means no further bug fixes or updates. Classic won't shut down immediately. We'll give at least 6 months' notice before setting any shut-down dates for Classic.

Will our data move from Dataflow classic to the new DataFlow?

No. We won't move the data to the new DataFlow.

Why not move the data from DataFlow classic to the new DataFlow?

The 2 systems handle and save data in their own ways. Because the templates vary in design and the related tools have changed, moving data from Classic DataFlow could cause it to change. To lower this risk, we've decided to put in place a clear plan for switching over.

Why should we move to the new DataFlow?

We designed the new DataFlow with you in mind, considering the needs that we didn't anticipate when DataFlow Classic launched. We made DataFlow easier for you to use. It uses the latest technologies to work more efficiently and adapts quickly to the ever-evolving business landscape.

Will we get assistance when we transfer to the new DataFlow?

We'll offer multiple tools to help with the transition, and you can also seek assistance from our professional services team.

What happens to the data in DataFlow classic after I transfer to the new DataFlow?

You'll still have access to ONESOURCE DataFlow Classic even after you switch to the new system. Currently, we haven't scheduled a date to retire DataFlow Classic. We'll let you know at least 6 months in advance before we plan to sunset the application. We're developing tools to access previous years' data in new requests and to save historical data outside of Classic DataFlow.
