Status templates, list management, and template converter

Listed are some of the changes for setup features in the new DataFlow.

Status templates

Status templates remain the same. Recreate your status templates under
Setup
, then select
Status Templates
 to maintain key features.
  • Open both applications at the same time or take a screenshot of your current status template for the easiest transition.
  • Use this opportunity to improve your status list and review permissions.
  • Manage actions within the
    Status Template
     area, but note that actions for
    Get from GLM
     and
    Send to OIT
     remain unavailable at this time.

List management

Categorize DataFlow requests with custom lists. To manage these lists, go to DataFlow,
Setup
, and then select
List Management
. The new DataFlow provides two custom lists:
  • Codes
  • Period
Refer to the DataFlow User Guide to learn how to manage codes and periods.

Dataflow template converter

You must convert DataFlow classic templates to use them in the new DataFlow. To do this, go to DataFlow, select
Setup
, and then use the
DataFlow Template Converter
. The converter option will appear when you open a DataFlow template.
