Data overrides

You can enter override amounts for entities that cannot use the data which has come from other data sources that other entities use with the filing group.
For example, if a newly acquired entity, with federal taxable income, isn't set up in one of the available data sources, then the system can't pick up the data automatically.

Enter data overrides

  1. Go to
    Data Overrides
    .
  2. Select the
    Year
    .
  3. Select
    Federal
    or
    State
    .
  4. Select the
    Filing Group
    .
  5. Select the
    Amount Type
    , either
    Actual
    or
    Forecast
    .
  6. Rows Entry Items
    is automatically selected.
  7. For
    Columns
    , select
    Entities
    or
    Jurisdictions
    .
  8. Select a
    Column Filter
    , if applicable. (The system selects all by default. It allows you to filter what you display.)
  9. Select the
    Jurisdiction
    .
  10. Select the
    Time Period
    .
  11. Select
    Load
    to open the Data Overrides workpaper. You can use the Copy and Paste commands to copy data from an Excel spreadsheet and then paste it into your workpaper.
  12. Select
    Save
    when you are finished entering data.
