Data overrides
You can enter override amounts for entities that cannot use the data which has come from other data sources that other entities use with the filing group.
For example, if a newly acquired entity, with federal taxable income, isn't set up in one of the available data sources, then the system can't pick up the data automatically.
Enter data overrides
- Go toData Overrides.
- Select theYear.
- SelectFederalorState.
- Select theFiling Group.
- Select theAmount Type, eitherActualorForecast.
- Rows Entry Itemsis automatically selected.
- ForColumns, selectEntitiesorJurisdictions.
- Select aColumn Filter, if applicable. (The system selects all by default. It allows you to filter what you display.)
- Select theJurisdiction.
- Select theTime Period.
- SelectLoadto open the Data Overrides workpaper. You can use the Copy and Paste commands to copy data from an Excel spreadsheet and then paste it into your workpaper.
- SelectSavewhen you are finished entering data.
