Convert account maps
Export the data
- In General Ledger Manager Classic, go toSetup, thenAccount Maps.
- Select the option toExportthe data.
- The export process will generate an.xlsxfile containing 3 columns:
- SecondaryChartName
- SecondaryAccountCode
- MasterAccountCode
- Review the data to ensure it has been exported correctly.
- Save the file inCSVformat.
Import the data
- Go toAdministration,Company Info, thenAccounts.
- Open theRolluptab and ensure theChart of accountstab is selected.
- SelectAdd Rollup.
- Fill in the following details:
- Rollup name
- SelectSummary chart
- Description (optional)
- From the list of available account rollups, select the one you added.
- SelectImport.
- Use the wizard to upload and map the exported data from General Ledger Manager Classic.
- Map the fields as follows:
- SecondaryChartNametoChart of name
- SecondaryAccountCodetoAccount code
- MasterAccountCodetoSummary account Code
- SetStart Rowto 2 to skip importing the header row from your CSV file.
- Follow the remaining steps in the wizard to complete the import process.
- Review the imported data to ensure accuracy.
