Data processing
Define how the incoming data aligns with the required data fields using processing instructions.
You can create these instructions based on the source system, such as SAP or Oracle. Processing instructions help map and validate data from different sources.
Enrichments
Enhance data quality by parsing, combining, or adding static values to the incoming data. Use enrichments to create new fields or modify existing ones to ensure data integrity.
- Select a source column to parse.
- Specify start and end positions for the desired information.
- Name the new field (for example, "entity code").
- Assign the new field to the appropriate data category.
- Select two or more fields to combine.
- Select a separator.
- Name the new combined field.
- Create a new column with a static value (for example, "Ledger" or "Actuals").
- Use this to differentiate between data types or sources.
- Specify text to add before or after existing data.
Data snapshots
Capture data snapshots at specific points in time during the financial close process. Track data over different snapshots to monitor changes.
Create a data snapshot
- Select a snapshot to create.
- Enter a name and description for the snapshot.
- Specify the date and time for the snapshot.
- Save the snapshot for future reference.
