Set up data transfers with ONESOURCE Tax Provision

Set up data transfers between ONESOURCE Tax Provision (OTP) and General Ledger Manager (GLM).

Turn on the data transfer in OTP

  1. Sign in to OTP.
  2. Select
    Administration
    System
    Manage Configurations
    Integration
    Datahub
    .
  3. Select
    Yes
     in
    Enable Data Transfer using Datahub / General Ledger Manager
    .

Extract data from
GLM

  1. Select
    My Datasets
    Imports
    Bridge Import
     on the Dataset you want to work with.
  2. Select your target components on step 1, then select
    Next
    .
  3. Select your target class, subclass, and units on step 2, then select
    Next
    .
  4. Select
    Upload Data From Data Hub / SAP / General Ledger Manager
     on step 3, then select
    Next
    .

  5. Select the following on step 4 of the configuration, then select
    Submit
    :
    1. Year
       - usually the same year as the Dataset you selected.
    2. Collection
       - this is populated with all published Master Trial Balances (MTB) you have in GLM for the selected year.
    3. Aggregation logic
       - this is the same name as the MTB you selected in GLM.
