Charts of accounts

You can create two types of charts of accounts:
  • Non-Master:
     Stores account details from the system or source providing the data.
  • Master:
     Stores accounts used for creating consolidated balances.

Create a charts of account

To create a charts of accounts:
  1. Sign in to ONESOURCE Administration, then select
    Accounts
    .
  2. Select
    Add New Chart of Accounts
    .
  3. Enter a name for the chart of accounts. 
  4. Specify whether it's a master chart or a source chart.
  5. Define the account structure (for example, number of digits, or segmentation).
  6. Enter individual account numbers and descriptions, then save the chart of accounts.
