Duty

The
Duty
 tab displays any associated duty rates for the selected HS Number.
Duty rates
Description
Main/Third Country Duty
Displays the general rate for a country. Phrasing differs by tariff schedule, but common terms include WTO, Column One (US), Erga Omnes (European Union), and Main Rate.
Preferential Duty
Displays any duty rates associated with the trade agreements or duty reduction programs available for an HS Number.
important
If a trade agreement is displayed here, you must determine whether the particular duty rate applies. To do so, verify whether the shipment qualifies for the preferential program.
Other Duty
Displays any other duty rate beside a main or preferential duty rate. This includes:
  • Tariff Suspensions
  • Retaliatory Tariffs
  • Other Duty Rates
ADD/CVD
Displays any Anti-Dumping or Countervailing duties associated with the selected HS Number and tariff schedule.
Export to Excel
Clicking this button will generate a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet that contains all details provided in the specified grid. All four grids contain this feature.
