Legal Text Screen
The
Legal Text
screen contains the legal text supporting Rules of Origin for both Free Trade Agreements and Country of Origin regulations. It combines the search for Legal Text FTA
and Legal Text – Origin
in one location, along with the legal text for country legislation.
To begin, select a legal text document for review.
HS Number
search criteria is optional. Searching for FTA Rules of Origin will provide the rules of origin for the specific HS Number.
After selecting which legal text to view, you can either scroll up and down the screen to see the Table of Contents (all hyperlinked to guide to the portion of the text you are looking for) or use the drop-down menu at the bottom of the screen to search for a specific section of the legal document.
