Viewing Information by Tariff Schedule

To open a tariff schedule, choose a tariff schedule from the Country/Tariff Schedule drop-down.
This drop-down has type-ahead capabilities and can be searched by country code or country name. From here, you can search for import or export tariff schedules like US HTS or US Schedule B. There are two options for the Country/Tariff Schedule selection box:
Tariff Schedule selection box
Description
Country Name
ISO name of a specific country (e.g. AU for Australia)
Tariff Schedule
Name of a tariff schedule within the system (i.e. EU Intrastat)

Quick Lookup (HS Number Known)

After a tariff schedule is selected from the
Country/Tariff Schedule
 drop-down:
  1. Enter an exact HS Number in the
    Enter/Select HS Number to view
     drop-down. This drop-down has type-ahead capabilities and can be searched by typing the chapter and heading digits of a fully qualified HS Number.
    The drop-down list will then display declarable HS Numbers matching the provided chapter and heading as well as a short description of each displayed number.
  2. Choose an HS Number from the drop-down list. This action will open the
    Global Tariff Detail
     screen, where available detailed information for the HS Number is stored in a tabbed format.

Quick Lookup (HS Number Unknown)

If an exact HS Number is unknown, use the Global HS Keywords with the
HS Quick Search
 functionality. Type a keyword describing the product into the search box. The system uses these keywords to suggest subheading-level HS Numbers associated with a description.
After a Tariff Schedule and HS Number are chosen, additional options will appear on the
Global Tariffs Detail
” screen. These options include the
Description/Controls/Notes Culture
 and
Country of Origin/Destination Filter
 drop-downs as well as the
Full Description
 and
Short Description
 radio buttons.

Global Tariffs (Quick Lookup) for Mobile

The
Global Tariffs (Quick Lookup)
 search method maintains all functionalities but adjusts the screen dimensions for a smartphone and other mobile devices.
