Appendix 4: United States SPI Codes

SPI codes are included in the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS). The HTSUS lists the codes in the tariff provisions where preferential treatment applies. Importers/exporters must include the SPI on their import/export documentation to benefit from FTA provisions.
