WCO Changes Best Practices
- Allow enough time– changes can be significant, and you want to make sure to allot enough time to make the changes and then validate the changes to ensure accurate classifications
- Take Customized Cascading Logic into account– cascading down to various products will need to be accounted for when making changes to part classifications to ensure you know what may happen to other parts upon making these updates
- Don’t forget Notes/Description Changes– these can still impact product classifications so is important not to overlook these changes
- Check back for changes– it is possible more changes come down the pipeline, ensure to check back and make sure nothing else has changed that impacts your product classifications
