Functionality

The screen has very limited functionality. It is really just designed to allow you to view and print.

Select Tree

The leftmost drop-down contains a list of available trees to view on the
Decision Tree Visualization
screen.
To select a Decision Tree, click on the drop-down and select a tree to open.
This drop-down also contains type-ahead capabilities. Typing part or all of a tree name will narrow down options to only those matching the entered criteria.

Layout

The layout drop-down (on the right) can be used to change how the tree is displayed. The default is
Tree Right
.

Filters

Sometimes, displaying the results and logic may obscure the flow of the tree. Unchecking the
Result
and/or
Logic
checkboxes will remove those elements from the screen.

Viewing Subtrees

If the tree being viewed has subtrees, you can click on the subtree node to open a separate tab for the selected subtree.
If the category parameter was not passed to the current screen, it will not be passed to the new tab. As a result, the tree selection drop-down may not be visible on the new tab.

Pan

To pan up, down, left, or right, click on the white space in the tree and drag the mouse.

Zoom

To zoom in or out, scroll the mouse wheel.

Generate

To create an Adobe PDF image of what is displayed on the screen, click
Generate
.
Generate
will only generate a .pdf file of what is currently visible on the screen. If the tree is cut off, it will also be cut off on the .pdf. If it is zoomed out on the screen, it will be zoomed out on the .pdf.
For larger trees, it is recommended that the user zoom out, center the tree as best they can, and use Adobe Reader to zoom in as needed.
