Dynamic Form
Form screens are used throughout the ONESOURCE platform any time you require the entry and management of multiple fields of data related to one record, such as a shipment, declaration, product, or FTZ transaction. The screenshots used throughout this help section are from Export Management, but the functionality is the same across the platform.
In most solutions, the form screens are configurable; this allows you to work with the Thomson Reuters implementation team to decide which fields will be of greatest use to your business environment.
Supplemental fields can usually also be added. The types of fields and names displayed can be changed, and the field order can be altered during implementation. Depending on how the system was configured, the fields on the form may be broken into one or multiple sections, indicated by a gray bar in the user interface:
Hiding and Expanding Sections
To hide a section:
- Choose a section to hide.
- Click its corresponding arrow on the far right.
The fields for that section will now be hidden on the screen. Clicking the arrow a second time displays the fields again.
Filter Form Fields
Each section will have a
Filter Form Fields
search box. As you type a value into this text box, the section refreshes to show only the field names matching what you typed.
Show Required Fields
To filter a section to only show the required fields, check the
Show Required Fields
box. The grid refreshes to show only required fields. 
Show Empty Fields
To filter a section to only show the empty fields, select the
Show Empty Fields
check box. The grid refreshes to show only empty fields.
