Pending requests tab in Multi-Levels Approvals (MLA)
In
Pending requests
, you see only requests which haven’t gone through the whole workflow yet. This can include requests already assigned to you for action, or requests that you can pick up to approve.The grid shows as follows:Column | Description |

Request number | Select a link in the Request number column to view more details about the status of the request in the Request details. |
Approval area | The area or type of request that requires approval. You can find more information about approval areas in the General features in ONESOURCE Multi-level approvals article in Help and Support . |
Requestor | The person who initiated the request. |
Division | The department or section within the organization to which the request belongs. |
Request status | The status of the request (e.g., pending, approved, rejected). |
Request creation date | The date on which the request was made. |
Last update date | The date on which the request was last updated. |
Is urgent | Check box control to indicate if request requires urgent review. When a request is marked as urgent, MLA sends an immediate email notification to the approver responsible for the current step. If a standard notification was already sent before the request was marked as urgent, the system still sends the urgent notification as an additional message. |
Is high risk | A checkbox filled automatically by the system to indicate if it is a high-risk item. |
Expected approval date | Estimate the date the request requires approval. You can only set this date if you check the “Is urgent” checkbox. |
By selecting a request number, you will go to the “
Request details
” screen. In this screen, you can see all information regarding your request, divided by “Request header”,” Approval steps” and your products by area.In the “
Approval steps
” section, the Actions
button in the grid allows you to add a step before or after the one you selected. The button also has Edit
and Delete
options to each step.
