Workflows tab in Multi-Levels Approvals (MLA)
Selecting
Workflows
opens a grid where you can view and monitor current workflows setup for your Multi-level approvals. You will only be able to manage workflows if you have administrator privileges.There are 5 workflows by default.To manage workflows, contact your assigned professional services team.The grid appears as follows:
Column | Description |

Action | This column displays the Action button, in which you can edit and delete workflows. |
Workflow name | This column specifies the unique name assigned to a particular workflow. |
Approval area | This column specifies the approval area related to the workflow. |
Workflow description | This column provides a detailed explanation of the workflow's purpose, steps, and functionality. |
Workflow status | This column shows whether the workflow status is “Final” (if concluded) or “Draft”. |
Add workflow and approval steps
To add a workflow, select the
Add workflow
button at the top of the grid. The “Add details
” screen will open, with the following fields:- Workflow name.
- Approval area.
- Workflow description.
- Workflow status: This field is a read-only and it will be “Draft” by default.
- Is high risk: Select this checkbox to indicate that the workflow applies to high-risk items
Once you save, the workflow will appear on the grid.
Now, to add approval steps:
- Select the workflow name. This action will lead you to the “Workflow details” screen.
- In the “Approval steps” section, select theAdd stepsbutton. A pop-up will appear.
- Fill in the fields:
- Step number: Read only. The sequential number for each approval step (e.g., 1, 2, 3, 4).
- Step description: In this field you can provide more details regarding that step.
- Division: Indicates the division responsible for approving the step.
- Approver role: Specifies the role of who will be performing the approval.
- Approval type:Matching(any person within the designated division can approve the step),Individual(you will need to assign a specific person to approve the step) orFull Group(everyone within the designated division needs to approve the step).
