Data Inclusion
is used for managing record types to determine what must be included in the results versus what may be included in the results.Inclusion type | Description |
|---|---|
Must | A Full Join. This means all criteria must be met in order for a record to appear on the report. |
May | A Left Join. This means the record will appear regardless of whether or not the criteria are met. |
To open the
Data Inclusion
pop-up, first load an existing report or save the report presently on the screen. Once a report is selected or saved, click “Data Inclusion” at the top of the screen.
Clicking
Data Inclusion
will open the Data Inclusion
pop-up.If no report was saved or selected, the grid will be blank and no action can be taken.
Click
X
to close the pop-up.
If a report was selected, the following three columns will appear in the pop-up. These columns are defined in more detail below:

Data Source | This is the name of the selected data source table, as named by its semantic layer Display Name. |
Inclusion Type |

Switch | This button will switch the data source’s inclusion type. Example: If Receipt History HTS Values is listed asMust Include , clickingSwitch will change it toMay Include and vice versa. |
