Entry Data
If the client’s version of ONESOURCE Entry Verification was configured to the default settings, the
Entry Data
tab will open when an entry number is selected. This tab is designed to provide a single, uniform location for several critical pieces of entry information. This information is organized into multiple sections that were defined during implementation. As a result, the layout of this tab will vary by client.
Header
The first section (just below the
Entry Data
tab header) includes information related to the entry’s current status, notes associated with the entry, attached documents for the entry, and errors within the entry.
Below is a description of all fields currently available for this section:
Fields | Description |
|---|---|
Status | The entry’s current status in the review process. |
Assigned To | The user assigned to the entry. |
Liquidation Date | The liquidation date of the entry. |
View Notes | A link to all notes associated with the entry. |
Line Count | The total number of lines on the entry. |
Error Line Count | The total number of errors present on the entry. |
Documents | The total number of documents attached to the entry. |
Business Status Code | The entry’s current status as it relates to the business process. |
Entry Field Data
The
Entry Field Data
section displays high-level information for the entry (e.g., Port of Entry, Broker ID, Entry Date, etc.). Fields displayed in this section are defined by the client during implementation and may vary from the example screenshot shown below. The data on this tab is displayed in a form view. Depending on how the system was configured, the fields on this tab may be broken into one or multiple sections, as indicated by a gray bar.
To hide a section, choose a section to hide and then click its corresponding arrow on the far right.

The fields for that section will now be hidden on the screen. Clicking the arrow a second time will make the fields visible again.

Filter Form Fields
Each section will have a
Filter Form Fields
search box. As the user types a value into this textbox, the section will refresh to only show fields matching what was typed.
Show Required Fields
To filter a section to only show the required fields, check the
Show Required Fields
box. The grid will refresh to only show required fields.
Show Empty Fields
To filter a section to only show the empty fields, check the
Show Empty Fields
box. The grid will refresh to only show empty fields.
Broker Milestones
The
Broker Milestones
section captures broker entry-related events and milestones (e.g., Entry Date, Document Receipt, Cleared Customs, Pulled for Inspection, etc.). This allows for a more proactive approach in managing entries from their creation all the way to when they clear Customs. These milestones can be sent electronically from the importer’s Customs Broker(s) to improve visibility on where shipments and entries presently are in the supply chain.

Manual Validations
The
Manual Validations
section captures manual tasks that cannot be automated.Capturing manually-completed tasks provides visibility to the status of every step in the post-entry review process, even those performed outside of ONESOURCE Entry Verification.
Fields displayed in this section are defined by the client during implementation and may vary from the example screenshot shown below.

Validation Grid
The
Validation Grid
section displays any discrepancies present at the Validation Group level. Validation Groups
are described in more detail in the Validation Group
section of the help documentation. If a Validation Type appears in blue, it is a link that (if clicked) will redirect you to the validation error so it can be resolved. Hovering over the validation error will provide a more detailed explanation as to what caused the error.
