Extract

The
Extract
 link on the
Entry Validation
 screen creates an Excel spreadsheet containing all discrepancies displayed in the grid at the time the link is clicked.
For example, if the Validation Type is
All
, then all discrepancies will export. If the
Validation Type
 drop-down was used to filter for a specific discrepancy (e.g., HS Number), the screen will display only those lines containing the specified discrepancy.
To extract the filtered results to Microsoft Excel, filter the grid as needed by using the filters at the top of the
Entry Validation
 screen. Once the results are properly filtered, click
Extract
.
The spreadsheet can then be saved to a local hard drive and e-mailed to a Customs Broker to amend entries in need of correction.
