Validating Entries in Entry Verification
Validating entry data typically occurs when entries are received from a Customs Broker and imported into ONESOURCE Entry Verification. This is typically done in batch mode on a nightly basis. By automating this process, the system enables the validation of every line included on the entry.
Upon receipt, ONESOURCE Entry Verification checks for discrepancies by comparing entry data against data that resides within the ONESOURCE platform. The Entry Verification rules engine leverages user-defined validation types to identify discrepancies.
Should any discrepancies occur, they will be identified and displayed on the
Entry Validation
and Entry Line Overview
screens. You can then make use of the PER capabilities present in the module to take corrective action and resolve the discrepancies.
