Requested Documents (IE446)

DMS 1.40 strengthens digital customs clearance in the Netherlands by allowing businesses to respond to Customs document requests electronically within the DMS workflow, reducing delays, manual effort, and compliance risk.
The “Requested Documents” feature allows you to upload and transmit documents directly from the DMS 4 Import Declaration screen, using the IE446 message.
To upload supporting documents
:
  1. After finding a declaration, click on the
    Requested Documents
     tab.
  2. To add a document entry, select
    New
    . A pop-up called "Requested Document" will appear.
  3. Complete the required fields: “Sequence Number”, “Document Reference”, and “Document Type”. “Description” and “CC Qualifier” are optional fields.
  4. Click
    Save
    . The pop-up will close.
  5. To upload the document file itself, expand the row and click on the
    Attachments
     tab.
  6. In the
    Attachments
     tab, click
    New
    . A pop-up called "Attachments" will appear.
  7. In the “Upload Document” field, click
    Select File
    .
  8. Once the document has been added and uploaded, select
    Save
    . The pop-up will close.
  9. To send the supporting documents, click
    Transmit
     on the Import Declaration screen.
