Additional messages may suggest various courses of action depending on the content of the message received.
Amendment message (IE013)
After receiving a
Positive Acknowledgment
, you have the option to change or modify the declaration until the consignment is in the customs zone (i.e., you have not received a
Release of Transit
 message).
Note:
 all details provided in the
Departure Declaration
 will be pre-populated into the
Amendment Draft Declaration
 to save time.
Invalidation (IE014)
If you need to cancel the declaration, you can use this option before the consignment is released by Customs for transit, meaning you have not received an IE029 message from Customs.You can use the
Invalidation Request
 action to request Customs to cancel (invalidate) the declaration.

 all details provided in the
Departure Declaration/Amendment Declaration
 will be pre-populated into the
Invalidation Request
draft message to save time.
Non-Arrived Movement (IE141)
If Customs ask for the location of goods, this message is to inform Customs about the location of the goods. This message should only be sent if Customs have sent an IE140 message.You can use the
Non-Arrived Movement
 action to respond to Customs and inform them about the location of the consignment.
Presentation Notification (IE170)
If Customs have imposed a control on the consignment and sent an IE060 message for the declaration you transmitted, this message needs to be created if the filed declaration is a pre-lodgment declaration.You can use the
Presentation Notification
 action to inform Customs to verify/view the consignment for transit by providing the IE028 (MRN) message as a response for the declaration.

Release Request

Release Request (IE054)
If you want to request Customs to release the consignment for transit, you can use this option. This option is also available if Customs have imposed a control on the consignment and sent an IE060 message for the declaration you transmitted.You can use the
Release Request
 action to request Customs to release the consignment for transit by providing the IE029 message as a response for the declaration.

Transit Accompanying Document (TAD)
A Transit Accompanying Document (TAD) ensures that all necessary details about the consignment are properly documented and available for Customs verification. The TAD must accompany the goods during their transit journey, providing essential information such as the consignor, consignee, and transit route.
To generate a PDF file of the TAD:
Once the IE029 message is received, the system will generate a TAD report.

This action will download a PDF file of the TAD report to your local drive.This ensures that the goods can be properly identified and inspected by customs authorities along the transit route if necessary.
