Staging Data Transfer
The
Staging Data Transfer
screen is used for transferring file data from the staging tables to the production tables. This screen can be accessed by choosing Staging Data Transfer
from the Preparation
menu.It is important to note that configuration by partner or site will determine whether multiple processes can be initiated in the same day. It will also ensure that certain processes have been marked as finalised before more transactions can be loaded.

This step will move all transactions, including those that run in the background (e.g. Item Master data).
The system cannot skip dates; meaning Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday files must be processed all together at one time or in chronological order. The
Moving Staging Data for Date
must reflect the last date you want to load.Staging Data Transfer (Fields)
Fields | Description |

Last Staging Data Moved | The last date data was transferred from the staging tables to the production tables. |
Moving Staging Data for Date | The next date data will move from the staging tables to the production tables. To choose a different import date, click the calendar and choose a date. It is also possible to enter a date into Moving Staging Data for Date . |
Staging Data Transfer Process
After the staging data dates have been specified, click “Start Transfer Now”. This step ensures that the FIFO or Inventory Processing has been marked as finalised before any staging transactions are loaded. The transfer moves all staging transactions, including:
- Transactional Data
- Inventory Balance Data
- Item Master Data
- HS Data
- Manufacturer Data
- Any other information configured to be loaded
This step will also trigger the validation process, which can be observed in the
Transfer of Data Progress
section of the screen. If the system identifies any validation errors, the Transaction Correction
screen will contain the errors.
