Using the ONESOURCE FTA Management Solution
As a Supplier to a company which has elected to leverage the ONESOURCE FTA Management solution to manage the solicitation of FTA information such as Certificates of Origin from its Supplier base; the expectation is that the Supplier will begin using the FTA Management solution as the preferred method for responding to a solicitation.
The ONESOURCE FTA Management solution is designed to allow responses to a solicitation to be completed in an automated manner versus the traditional means of responding such as sending hard copies of Certificates of Origin through the mail/fax machine or sending a soft copy (e.g. Adobe .pdf) of the Certificate of Origin via e-mail.
This User Guide provides detailed instructions on how to use the application to respond to a solicitation received by a company using the ONESOURCE FTA software and to manage the solicitation for Certificates of Origin.
It should be noted that the ONESOURCE FTA Management software is used to capture information pertaining to the eligibility of a product for a particular FTA in a centralized platform.
ONESOURCE FTA Management is designed to facilitate the capturing of information from the Supplier to help the requestor determine the eligibility of products. The application will not determine if the products supplied qualify. However, the application will allow for the completion of a request, the electronic submission of a preferential Certificate of Origin, and offers the ability to mark non-qualifying products as ineligible.
