FTA: BOM Analysis - Qualification Info

Qualification Info
 allows you to require an RVC higher than the regulatory buffer for the selected agreement.
To add qualification info:
  1. Click the
    Add Qualification Info
     link.
  2. Select the desired agreement from the dropdown menu.
  3. After selecting the agreement, you will enter the buffer.
  4. If needed, click the
    Apply to Subsection RVC
     button.
  5. Click
    Insert
    .
The qualification info will now appear as a line item in the grid below:
Override
The
Override
 tab displays BOMs that are currently failing BOM analysis solely because of the qualification buffer configured for their agreement. If a BOM would pass analysis under the regulatory requirement but fails due to the buffer, it will appear in this tab and can be overridden.
There are two button options at the top of the tab:
  • Available for override
     — Displays BOMs that are currently failing due to the buffer and are eligible to have the buffer overridden.
  • Available for reversal
     — Displays BOMs for which an override has already been applied and can be undone.
To apply an override:
  1. Select the "Available for override" option.
  2. Review the list of BOMs in the grid. Select the BOM(s) you want to override by checking their corresponding boxes.
  3. Click "Override". A pop-up will appear asking if you are sure you want to override the selected BOM(s).
  4. Click OK to proceed.
To undo an override:
  1. Select the "Available for reversal" option.
  2. Review the list of BOMs in the grid. Select the BOM(s) whose override you want to undo by checking their corresponding boxes.
  3. Click "Undo Override". A pop-up will appear prompting you to provide a reason for the reversal.
  4. Type the reversal reason and click
    Undo
     to proceed.
Override History
The
Override History
 tab provides a read-only log of all qualification buffer override and reversal actions taken on BOMs within the system. Each row represents a single override or reversal event and includes the following columns:
  • Action
  • Bill of Materials
  • Product Num
  • Agreement
  • HS Number
  • RVC Buffer
  • Action Reason
  • User name
  • Action Date
The grid can be filtered using the
Action
 column to display only overrides, only reversals, or all actions. Standard grid filtering and sorting apply.

Override History
 tab is read-only. No changes can be made from this tab.
