FTZ Management: FAQ - Binder and Member Detail Dataset

Why do the amounts in my results not tie to the binder? They seem to be doubled (or tripled, quadrupled, and so forth).
Having multiple binders in an entity will cause values in each binder to sum together if Binder Name is not selected.
If you select a
with Member Detail
dataset, you must select
Consolidated Binder Name
. Having multiple consolidations where this binder is a member will cause values to sum together.
When do I use with Member Detail?
Following are guidelines and tips for using with
Member Detail
datasets:
  • Member Detail
datasets allow users to get information for all members of a given/specified consolidation (or all consolidations if no filter is selected).
  • You must select a
    Consolidation Binder Name
. Once selected, you can hide the selection, but in the case of multiple consolidation binders (for state filings), amounts will be doubled, tripled, and so on, if you do not select a specific consolidated binder.
  • Binders not associated with a consolidation will not return results in the
    with Member Detail
    queries.
  • Member Detail
datasets generally include the amounts coming from the
    Consolidated Binder
. You might need to set a filter to exclude or totals could be more than expected.
