FTZ Management: Maintenance - Global Codes Configuration

Global Codes ensure consistency and flexibility across the system by providing the ability for the user to define valid values for various fields used throughout the system.
This screen can be opened by choosing
Global Codes
 from the
Maintenance
 menu.
The
Global Codes
 screen has search capabilities consistent with the
Maintenance Screen Search Criteria
 section of this User Guide.

Adding a New Global Code

To add a new Global Code (e.g. Transaction Quantity Unit of Measure):
  1. Click
    Add Record
    .
  2. Enter the required values.
  3. Click
    Insert
    .

Modifying an Existing Global Code

To edit an existing Global Code:
  1. Determine which global code to modify.
  2. Click
    Edit
    .
  3. Make all necessary changes.
  4. Click
    Update
    .

Deleting an Existing Global Code

To delete an existing Global Code:
  1. Determine which global code to modify.
  2. Click
    Delete
    .
