LOAD FILES TO FTP SERVER ON WINDOWSThis document contains steps on how to setup, connect and manually load files into the File Transfer Protocol (FTP) account on a Windows computer.
There are multiple ways to connect and upload the files to FTP. Examples such as web browser, FileZilla, etc. The guidance below contains the steps to use the Windows build-in File Explorer to access the FTP account.
Setting up the FTP

1. | Open Start , and search for This PC and open this desktop app ![]() |
2. | Click Computer on the top left of “This PC” desktop app and click Add a Network Location . ![]() |
3. | Click Next to start the FTP setup. ![]() |
4. | Click Choose a custom network location and then click Next ![]() |
5. | Enter ftp://ftp2.integrationpoint.net/ as the address for production FTP and click Next ![]() |
6. | Uncheck the “log on anonymously”, and type account UserName provided by IntegrationPoint project team. Click Next for further steps ![]() |
7. | Name the FTP server and click Next .
You can type a preferred name here as your own reference. ![]() |
8. | Click Finish as the last step to setup the FTP server account. ![]() |
Connecting to the FTP

1. | Open the FTP Server folder under the PC Network Locations ![]() |
2. | Fill in Password provided by ONESOURCE project or support team, and then click Log On ![]() |
Loading Files
Step | Action |

1. | Copy the files needing to load. Can copy files by either press Ctrl +C on the keyboard or right click choose Copy |
2. | Paste the files into the FTP server directory. Step into the FTP server and go to the corresponding directory to paste the fie either press Ctrl + V on the keyboard or right click choose Paste . ![]() |
3. | Wait for scheduled workflows to run and retrieve appropriate files from the FTP to load. |
