Audit Log
The
Audit Log
screen records and maintains a log of all changes made to a product starting from when the product was first created inside ONESOURCE Global Classification. This screen is used to monitor changes being made to product records in the system. This screen can be opened by choosing Audit Log
from the main Classification
menu. Although the grid will default to show all global records, records can be filtered by country.
To switch between country profiles, click on the
Country
drop-down and select a country.
Once a country profile is selected, the
Audit Log
grid populates with changes made to products that belong to the selected country. The most recent changes will display at the top of the screen.
The
Audit Log
grid displays the following information:- Changed Product Numbers
- Product Description
- The username of the user who made the change
- The value of the field prior to being updated
- The value of the field after being updated
- The date the change was implemented
important
Not every field for every product is automatically tracked by the audit log. Only fields declared as “audited” fields during implementation will have changes tracked by the audit log.

Users can narrow the records shown by filtering by country by searching various criteria under the
Search
drop-down and entering values in the For
text box. Filtering multiple columns by clicking Show/Hide Filter
is also an option.
Each column heading can be clicked in order to sort results.

To view more records, select the appropriate number (up to 500) from the
Page size
drop-down box at the bottom of the grid.
