Create a New Product Record
To create a new product record, click
New
.
The
Edit Classification
screen will provide a blank form, complete with empty data entry fields. Enter
the product’s information in the applicable fields. If a field is highlighted in red and has a red asterisk (*) beside it, the field is mandatory and cannot be omitted.The drop-down fields have type-ahead capabilities. As information is entered into a drop-down, the available options will narrow to show only options matching what was typed.
After all required product information has been entered, click
Save
at the top of the screen.Any new record created for a specific country will also create a record for the
Global
view. The Global
view of the product acts as the parent record and can be used to create records for other countries.
