Performing a Classification Update
To perform a classification update, click the
Country
drop-down and select the country required for the update.
Select one or more fields to add by checking relevant items in the
Field(s) to Add
drop-down. The fields checked in the Field(s) to Add
drop-down will be added to the end of the results table if they are not there already. These additional fields can be used to search for specific groups of products to be updated.
Results can be further narrowed down by utilizing the filtering options. To use this option, click
Show/Hide Filter
at the top right of the grid.
Choose a column to filter by and select a filter option. More than one filter can be used at a time to further narrow down results.
Additionally, there is a special filter for the
ProductNum
column that can be used to search for specific products. This filter can be accessed by clicking on the filter icon.
Clicking the Filter icon will open the
Product Number Filter
pop-up. Add a new line for each product number to filter. Once a line is ready to be added, click the "+
" icon.Once the line is added, it will appear in the box below. If a product needs to be removed, click on the product name and then click on the - button. Clicking
Clear All
will remove all products from the list.Once all desired product numbers to be searched are added, click
Search
. The system can support searches of up to 200 product numbers at a time.
A confirmation message will appear on the screen. Click
OK
to proceed.
After the grid refreshes with the filtered results, all other filtering capabilities (including on the Product Number column) are still available to further filter the grid. Once the desired results are displayed in the grid, use the
Modify field(s)
drop-down to specify which field(s) require modification.
A new field or drop-down will appear for each field that was checked within the
Modify field(s)
drop-down. For each field to be modified, select or enter the value to be used or updated.
In the grid, review the list of results and check the boxes for the ones to be modified. Checking the box above the grid will select all results. The results table page size can be changed by using the
Page size
drop-down on the bottom of the grid to select the amount of results to show (up to 500). Click Apply Updates
to perform a classification update on the modify fields of the selected products.
After
Apply Update
is clicked, a pop-up box will appear asking for confirmation to update the selected records.
After the record has successfully been updated, the following validation notification will appear on the screen:
