PGA template

The
PGA record templates
 screen is useful for creating, reviewing, or deleting Import PGA templates that apply in both
PGA Mappings
 screen and
Missing PGA data
 work queues.
You can access this screen from the main menu by selecting
PGA templates
.
Upon opening, you will see all templates showing 10 results per page. You can filter and adjust these results to attend your needs.

Create a template

  1. From the main menu, select
    PGA templates
    .
  2. Select
    Create template
    .
  3. Fill in all the necessary Header fields indicated with an *.
  4. Field
    Description
    Template name*
    The name of the template you're using or creating.
    Agency code*
    A unique code identifying the agency responsible for the product.
    Program code*
    A unique identifier used to categorize and manage various programs, initiatives, or requirements that fall under the jurisdiction of Customs Automated Trade Interface Requirements (CATAIR).
    PGA indicator*
    Indicates whether the product is subject to Partner Government Agency (PGA) regulations.
    Agency processing code
    A code used by the agency to process the product information.
    Confidential information
    Specifies if the information is confidential.
    Globally unique product identification code qualifier
    The qualifier for the unique product identification code.
    Globally unique product identification code
    The globally unique code that identifies the product.
    Electronic image submitted
    Checks if a product image was submitted.
    Intended use code
    A code representing the intended use of the product.
    Correction indicator
    Indicates if the information provided is a correction to previously submitted data.
    Intended use description
    A description of the intended use of the product (up to 500 characters).
  5. Select
    Save template
    .
    This action will take you to a single view of the PGA template where you can add products, edit, or delete information.

Delete a PGA template

If you need to delete a PGA template, follow these steps:
  1. In the
    PGA template
     screen, select the template you want to delete.
  2. Select
    Actions
     .
  3. Select
    Delete template
    .
  4. Select
    Delete
     to confirm the action.
    A confirmation message will appear on your screen indicating that the template has been successfully deleted.

Edit a PGA template

  1. You can edit the information in the PGA template based on the section you want to have auto populated.
  2. Refer to Manage PGA Data to know more about each section.

Make a copy of a PGA template

You can make a copy of a PGA template and save it with a different name to save time when creating a similar template. Follow these steps:
  1. In the
    PGA template
     screen, select the template you want to copy.
  2. Select
    Actions
    .
  3. Select
    Save template as
    .
  4. Enter a template name.
  5. Select
    Save
    .
    A confirmation message will appear on your screen.
