Declaration Detail View

The Declaration Detail View screen is used to search for a specific declaration and view all information provided by a Broker, Government data source, and/or ERP system.
This screen is accessible by
GTV Declaration View
from the
Global Trade Visibility
menu.
To search for a declaration, start typing a declaration number in the
Declaration Search
text box. This text box has type-ahead capabilities to assist in quickly finding the needed declaration. The type-ahead also provides the country where the entry or shipment was received or released for GTV Import and GTV Export respectively.
After a declaration is chosen, all header and detail records will display. Review data below. If the grid is too long, use the horizontal scroll bars to see farther column.
Separate scroll bars exist for header and detail data grids.
Header Details

Detail Record(s)
sections are read-only (i.e. users cannot make updates). If the number of detail lines associated to the declaration exceeds the space available, an additional vertical scroll bar will display. Users may also be presented with the option to navigate to additional pages.
To navigate to the next page of detail lines, click .
To navigate to the last page of the detail lines, click .
To navigate to the previous page of detail lines, click .
To navigate to the first page of the detail lines, click .
To update the number of detail lines displayed within the detail grid, update the
Page size
: option to a higher number. These buttons are all located at the bottom of the screen.
To search for a new declaration number, return to the
Declaration Search
: text box (top left of screen).
To enter a new number, delete the current number from the text box or click
X
at the end of the text box. Start typing a new number. Once a number is chosen from the type-ahead functionality, the Declaration Detail View screen regenerates with the new information.
To remove a declaration from reports, click
Expire
on the top right of the screen. A validation message will appear. Click
Confirm
to continue or
Cancel
to drop. After confirming, you will be taken to the
Declaration Detail View
landing page.
To extract data of a declaration to Excel, click
Extract
on the top right of the screen. An Excel spreadsheet will be downloaded.
To exit the Declaration Detail View screen, click
Exit
on the top right of the screen.

Sorting and Filtering Grids

All columns in the detail can be sorted alphabetically by clicking the column name. For further filtering capabilities, refer to the section Sorting and Filtering Grids in the User Setup user guide.

Table View

In addition to the horizontal scrolling bars, declaration header and detail records can be viewed via the
Table View
link.
Table View
displays all data elements in a pop-up.
Header View
and
Detail View
pop-ups are read-only.
Fields with calculations at the time of processing the ONESOURCE interface will highlight in a different color. These fields include all Estimated Base fields with exchange rates applied based on the Base Currency code set by the user during implementation.
All text boxes highlighted in blue include hover-over descriptions for further detail.
