Port Codes
Valid Ports of Lading must be maintained within the system. This screen can be accessed by choosing
Global Trade Visibility
from the main menu. Port Codes
will appear beneath the Maintenance Data Management
sub-menu.Foreign ports should have a port type of
FO
while U.S. ports should have a port type of US
in the Type
column.
ADDING A PORT OF LADING
To add a port to the system, click
Add Record
.
Enter all information for the port, and then click
Insert
. All columns must be entered when adding a new port.
MODIFYING AN EXITING PORT OF LADING
To modify existing port information, click
Edit
.
Make any necessary changes, and then click
Update
.
SEARCHING FOR AN EXISTING PORT OF LADING
To search for a port, choose a search option from the
Search
drop-down. Enter the data in the For field and click Search
