Preference Programs
Global Trade Visibility can harmonize preference programs across both ONESOURCE Content and client-specific data. This harmonization takes place on the
Preference Programs
screen.This screen can be accessed by choosing
Preference Programs
from the Maintenance Data Management
sub-menu of the Global Trade Visibility
menu.The Preference Program Maintenance screen displays available preference programs in a grid with three searchable columns, as defined in the table below.
Preference Program Maintenance - Columns | Description |
|---|---|
Internal Reference | The code ONESOURCE Content uses to denote specific preference programs. |
Full Program Name | The full text name ONESOURCE Content associates to each individual preference program code. |
Display Name | Name displayed on all reports that display preference programs. If no Display Name exists, the Full Program Name will display. |
To associate client-specific preference programs to the ONESOURCE Content preference programs, choose a program and click
Manage Preference Codes
.

Preference Code
pop-up will open. To add the new record, click Add
.
Enter the preference code and description. Click
Insert
to insert the record or Cancel
to drop all changes and return to the Preference Program Maintenance
screen.
