View Navigation
The
Global Trade Visibility
screen has the ability to show multiple views in a vertical list along the left side of the screen. Each screen will change dynamically to display the associated views based on the chosen sub-category.Views are designed to start with the broadest selection of data and drill down into the details of each sub-category. There are two ways to navigate the various views within a sub-category.
Independent View
Clicking each view independently will display all reports associated to that view and be made visible based on common reporting fields.

Target Sequential Views
The next option to navigate through the various views within a sub-category is to
target
the next sequential view in the list. To target the next view, choose and click a data element (such as a bar in a bar chart or a slice in a pie chart) displayed in the report.Once a data element is chosen, the screen navigates to the next sequential view with the chosen data element added as a filter. A filter narrows down the displayed data. The order in which the views appear is decided during implementation. If a change to view order is needed, please contact your system administrator.
important
Not all views have targeting functionality.
In the example below, you are located at a view called
Countries of Import by Import Value
and selected the bar labelled GB
for Great Britain. The screen will navigate to the next view (ImporterIDs by Import Value
) and add the filter ImportCountry=’GB’.
