Craft Beverage Modernization Act (CBMA)
If your system is configured for CBMA processing, additional data elements can be applied to line item details via a pop-up modal.
To add CBMA details.
- Click "CBMA" on the top right of the screen.
- Check the box of the entry lines you want to enter CBMA details.

Calculation CodeA code used to determine which unit of measure to utilize with the CBMA fee rate.- FSP1:The Override Specific Rate Times Report Quantity 1
- FSP2:The Override Specific Rate Times Report Quantity 2
Override Specific RateThe CBMA Rate that is to be used when calculating the fee.Controlled Group NameThe ‘name’ assigned to the Importer by the foreign producer.Foreign Producer IdentifierThe identifying code of the foreign producer / assigning entity named as Foreign Producer.Foreign Producer NameThe name of the Foreign Producer / Assigning Entity.Allocation QuantityThe total annual assignment to the importer by the foreign producer/assigning entity for the alcohol type and rate.Flavor Content Credit IndicatorIf the article is spirits, an indication that the Importer used an eligible flavor content ‘credit’ rate in the determination of the actual effective tax rate used to determine the tax amount.CBMA Rate Designation CodeAn ACE code that specifies a TTB product/tranche/rate.TTB Tax Rate (Confirmation)The TTB Tax Rate in USD ($).
