ONESOURCE™ Processing Trade Regime (PTR)
The ONESOURCE™ Global Trade Processing Trade Regime (PTR) is a duty suspension program by China Customs, enablings the duty-free import of raw materials and merchandise for subsequent export as finished goods. Launched in 1979, the PTR has evolved significantly, becoming a cornerstone for both multinational and local companies engaging in trade.
The program operates within bonded areas, ensuring comprehensive tracking and electronic oversight of imports and exports. It offers participants the advantage of cost and time efficiency, while minimizing the risk of penalties and duty-related discrepancies.
